Photography has been a passion of mine for many years.
My favourite subjects are landscapes and people. I find the most fulfilling photographs are the ones that capture revealing moments in time - a recording of history, if you like.

I grew up in scenic South Wales, near the Gower Peninsula - the UK’s first designated Area of Outstanding Natural Beauty. It was there that my love of, and respect for, the great outdoors was nurtured and an insatiable desire to ‘get out there’ first blossomed.

After working for years in an office environment that left me completely unfulfilled, I decided that it was time for a change of direction. After many years as a keen photographer, I decided to travel around the world for a year, camera in hand, and then start a new career upon my return, doing what I love most.

As a photographer, it is easy to get caught up in the excitement of new locations and new people, yet your own local landscape and people are just as important and should be celebrated. My relationship with my own principality Wales would not be the same had I not travelled around the world, for experiencing other landscapes and cultures gives me a much richer appreciation of my own homeland - the green green grass, the majestic coastline, the lovely people - such things I see as someone who is both an outsider and a resident.

I wish to now share my view on the world through my photography, just as I share my humour and happiness with others wherever I am in the world. Each of my pictures holds a unique story behind it, yet also allows the viewer to enter the scene and interpret it as they wish.

Today I can be found in beautiful West Wales, UK, camera in hand, teaching Pilates and designing websites.
